What inanimate object do you wish you could eliminate from existence?

What tells you the most about a person?

What is something you thought would be easy until you tried it?

What ridiculous and untrue, yet slightly plausible, theories can you come up with for the cause of common ailments like headaches or cavities?

What do you believe but cannot prove?

Do animals have morals?   Exclude human beings from the equation please.

Is there inherent order in nature or is it all chaos and chance?

Where is your least favorite place in the world?

Would you rather be a super nice person and be depressed all your life, or be happy and a total *sshole? (Credit goes to Cyranny for this question, aired on one of her “Cyranny’s Quickies” posts.)
Have you ever made someone cry?
Are you a dreamer or a go-getter?
If you were in a band, what instrument would you play?

I don’t think that a ‘super nice person’ has it in them to be to be an *sshole. Nor do I think that super nice people will live in a life of depressed friendships.

Have you ever made someone cry?

Crying is a necessary part of the “Circle of Life”.

Are you a dreamer or a go-getter?

Before you can ever be a ‘go-getter’ you have to have dreamed. To only dream is to live a life that never gets off the starting line … the sofa.

If you were in a band, what instrument would you play?

I enjoy playing many musical instruments- to a small degree- but the instrument I miss the most is being able to play my vocal cords

Which would you rather throw away: Love or Money?
Do you believe you should do one thing a day that scares you?
What’s the last thing you do at night?
If you could own a mythical creature (unicorn, phoenix, etc.), which one would you pick? (A nod to the soon ending 2021 A-Z Blogging Challenge, my topic this year “Mythical Creatures”)

Which would you rather throw away: Love or Money?

Love seems to be in shorter supply… because for question FOUR, I have already taken care of the money!

Do you believe you should do one thing a day that scares you?

Does weighing oneself each morning count?

What’s the last thing you do at night?

Recently, I have been listening to old-time radio shows each night.

What was the last TV show you binge-watched? If you don’t watch TV (congratulations by the way) what’s the last thing you binged ON?
What’s your most prized possession and why?
If you had the time and inclination, what would you volunteer for?
Do you think that humans will ever be able to live together in harmony?

What was the last TV show you binge-watched? If you don’t watch TV (congratulations by the way) what’s the last thing you binged ON?

Doctor Finlay
Doctor Finlay returns from WWII to his hometown to reestablish himself in his medical practice at Arden House in the small town of Tannochbrae, Scotland.
The original story, written by A. J. Cronin, is in its second television series. The first one was made in the 1960s and was called Dr. Finlay’s Casebook.
This new adaptation stars Doctor Finley as the lead doctor, his semi-retired partner Doctor Cameron, and a new associate physician, Doctor Neil. A housekeeper, Janet MacPherson, also has a lead role.
Even though Doctor Finlay is a television series, each of the episodes find closure in themselves.
If you enjoy medical dramas and historical fiction, this one is for you.

What’s your most prized possession and why?
I really don’t have things that I would call ‘prized possessions’.
I treasure ‘friendships’… but I don’t think that a ‘friendship’ can be called a ‘possession’.

If you had the time and inclination, what would you volunteer for?
There are so many choices….

Do you think that humans will ever be able to live together in harmony?
Humans, by nature, seem to be selfish individuals. Some seems to desire to overcome this tendency…Others thrive on selfishness as their greatest ambition in life?

If not now, then when?

Can you describe your life in a six-word sentence?

Do you remember that thing people used to say, about how you swallow eight spiders a year while you sleep? It’s not true, but do you think you’ve ever swallowed any? What bug do you think you’ve eaten the most of by accident?

What’s the best approach to resolving conflict?

If not now, then when?

There is NEVER a “Not Now” I have a TO-DO LIST as long as Sponge-Bob’s and I am constantly shortening it.

Can you describe your life in a six-word sentence?

I can truthfully say that I… (Oops, I ran out of words?)

Do you remember that thing people used to say, about how you swallow eight spiders a year while you sleep? It’s not true, but do you think you’ve ever swallowed any? What bug do you think you’ve eaten the most of by accident?

Pixmus

I always make sure all my ‘pets’ are safly housed before sleeping!

The Neighborhood

Wiki

The Neighborhood

(On CBS)

The Neighborhood takes two families, a white Midwestern family and an African-American family, and creates a pseudo-neighborhood relationship sitcom.

It is a great way at showing the differences in the way these two families experience and see the world WITHOUT the preaching.

The White Midwestern Family

  • Dave Johnson: the perfect neighbor- so perfect, you want to kill him! A conflict mediator.
  • Gemma: an elementary school principal at a progressive (virtually all-white) school
  • Grover: the innocent- sometimes too-all-knowing son in elementary school

The African-American Family

  • Calvin Butler (Cedric the Entertainer): owner of an auto repair shop
  • Tina Butler: once dreamed of being a singer, now works in the auto repair shop with her husband
  • Malcolm Butler: the oldest don, once a baseball star- but was injured. Now seeking a purpose.
  • Marty Butler: the younger son. A computer space scientist. A nerd!

Funny… Sometimes a little off-color (just as life happens to be)… and often very thought provoking.

Worth a watch… or two!

FBI Agents Savich and Sherlock assist Miles (the boy’s father and a former FBI agent) to apprehend the kidnappers.

The kidnapping case leads the trio, plus the local sheriff, to begin investigations into a rather creepy charismatic evangelist.

While on the kidnapping case, the Federal Agents are also involved with a serial killer of local math teachers?

Another winner by Catherine Coulter.

My next-door neighbors are awesome. I saw them just the other day, I think was June of 1993.

I am a very neat and tidy person. Very single item of clothing and footwear is organized. Labeled, and in its proper place. So tell that conniving paparazzi to go to my next-door neighbor’s house to take pictures. LEAVE ME ALONE!

(FBI Thriller #7)

Catherine Coulter

Father Michael Joseph, a priest (the identical twin brother to  FBI agent Dane Carver), is murdered.

Savich and Sherlock assist Dane in hunting down the prep.

A witness is discovered: “Nick” Jones- A homeless woman.

At the funeral, someone tries to kill the only witness.

Soon, the priest’s murder is tied to a series of killings. The killings seem to be modeled after a new television series. After each new episode, there is a fresh killing.

A One Night Read! You won’t want to put it down.
