Aardvark – Unusual Pets: A Lot Like Me

I have never seen a real live aardvark.

Similarities

The aardvark has quite a snoozer on him.

A baby aardvark has to grow-into his ears… but never really does.

A baby aardvark is called a cub. As a kid, I was a cub scout.

When things are hidden, he’s interested in the digging into those concealed places.

Aardvarks prefer the night (being nocturnal animals). I enjoy the evenings more than mornings.

Aardvarks like to dig in soil. I love to garden.

Resolutions

Did you make any New Year’s Resolutions this year?

I’m not really into New Year resolutions, I make a new resolution every month. Sometime about ‘me’ or ‘life around me’ that I would like to change, remove, improve …

I have been doing some kind of monthly resolution for years and years. Maybe since I was a ten-year-old. (Possibly even before that).

My resolutions used to include “the carrot’ and ‘the stick’. Now that I have gotten older, ‘sticks’ aren’t very good deterrents (maybe they never were)… I only used carrots.

I have 12 goals for the New Year. Actually- the month of January. Then re-access, hone, and restart.

The new one I have added of January is to learn to play the ukulele. I need to do a lesson a week and practice at least three times for that week.

If I think about, I’ll keep you posted on my progress.
