Becoming an Explorer of Life

Giphy

Are there new things experiences on the horizon for you this year?

Even if you had a great year this past year and never wanted any part of your present world altered, change is inevitable.

Heraclitus, an ancient Greek philosopher before Socrates, taught that the world was in perpetual change. He said, Nothing endures but change.”

Besides, if you told the honest truth, there are things in your life that you wish were better.

So why not, this year, explore new options.

“Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.”

Carol Burnett

“Change your thoughts and you change your world.”

Norman Vincent Peale

Decide on one declaration for this New Year. It could be a change you have begun to experiment with in your life that you want to enable to become a foundational part of your being.

It could be something very simple. Maybe you think of it as even inconsequential.

“Know what’s weird? Day by day, nothing seems to change, but pretty soon…everything’s different.”

Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes

Change is going to happen. That car is already in motion. It’s only a matter of who is behind the wheel.

A word for the more cautious…

Steer your car with purpose.

“The only difference between a rut and a grave is their dimensions.”
