SHARE YOUR WORLD – 2015

WEEK #36

  • If you were a pen, what type, style and color would you be?
  • How many languages do you speak?
  • Are you a listener or talker?
  • Which would you rather have, 2 million dollars or true love?

If you were a pen, what type, style and color would you be?

If I were a writing utensil, I would not choose to be a pencil. I am far too bold and persistent at living life… I do not want to be erased!

I would not like to be a pastel color, nor even a bold, dynamic hue. I enjoy working unnoticed- but not necessarily from the sidelines. The passion for what I am choosing to accomplish is far more important to me than the acclaim that its success might achieve.

A firm, black-tipped writing marker would probably be my life of choice. A quality fine-tipped marker would lend itself to strength, endurance, yet with a skilled hand, this implement cold easily create the beauty of calligraphy.

How many languages do you speak?

I have taken approximately eight semesters of Latin, three semesters of Spanish, and more than thirty semesters of English. Yet sometimes I still struggle to find the right words in my home tongue- English. (I think I might speak ‘dog” better than a human language?)

Are you a listener or talker?

Who am I with? What time of day is it? Important variables for me.

Which would you rather have, 2 million dollars or true love?

True love…. A passion open to all people that will allow themselves the risk. (There is never a guarantee that true love will be returned. Love is an act of work and self-sacrifice. The fact of a one-sided relationship is always a possibility. )

Give me the money.
