Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

  • One of my favorite gifts that Harry Potter received came from the Weasley Twins – Mrs. Mooney’s Marauder’s Map. This magical document showed every classroom, hallway and secret corner in all of Hogwarts. It also showed you the location- by name- of every person in Hogwarts.

If you had such a magical map of your town, what would you use it for? If you would not use it, is there another person to whom you would gift it?

  • When was the last time you made a snowball? Were in a snowball fight?
  • Many cultures set great value in each child of the family having godparents? Did you have godparents? Are you a godparent yourself?
  • You have found a secret tunnel under your house. Where does it go?

Having a map such as this would make the ‘police chief’ of our neighborhood watch. Talk about power!!! Although, the compensations for its use as a tool of evil…?

When was the last time you made a snowball? Were in a snowball fight?

It has been years and years and years. I loved the snow as a youth. Making trails and riding the sled. Tunneling under the heaps of drifts and building forts.

But I don’t think I was ever in a good snowball fight?

I must be raised as an icy-weather pacifist?

As far as I know, I don’t think I had godparents. From the ‘hills’ of my raising, it wasn’t a thing.

You have found a secret tunnel under your house. Where does it go?

Oh, the stories I could tell!

  1. You’re right about enjoying the snow as kids. But I admit, I still feel more than a little twinge of excitement when that first snow of the season begins to fall.

  2. Very nicely done Roger!! I need to go and answer your questions, from last week AND this week, they’re simply wonderful! I’ve put a link to this post in my SYW primary post, so people can come here and interact on your blog. Thank you again for doing all this!
