DEALING WITH LEFTOVERS WHEN COOKING FOR ONE
The quandary between frozen-made dinners … much quicker to prepare and far less cleanup, and the much better tasting (at least once you perfect the recipe) but far more cleanup …
What to do?
What to do?
What to do?
And then there are the leftovers …
Cooking-for-one can be an exhilarating experience.
Cooking-for-one can be a curse.
One of the main problems with cooking-for-one is there is almost always too many leftovers.
What do you do with the rest?
Amazon (or Walmart) to the rescue.
You can find great preparation/ storage containers in just the right sizes, if you look, The containers now come with great resealable covers and and microwave/ oven/ freezer/ dishwasher safe.
A culinary miracle! .
Now you just have to prefect the recipes you enjoy into two person meals.
One for now…
One for later.
Problem solved.
Written for DAILY ADDICTIONS: REST.
Cooking for two is a pain in the rear. It’s hard to shop, it’s hard to find pans, it’s hard to measure. Like, all of the recipes out there serve six to eight. I’m cooking for two, sometimes one. Frozen is nice if one has a big freezer and doesn’t mind eating the same thing many times, but damn… I just want to cook for myself and the hubs. Not make one meal that will last me a week. >_< Sorry to vent.
