Splish, Splash, Spill … Repeat

Did you know that showers are #3 on the list of large uses of water in the home?

  • #1 – Toilets
  • #2 – Washers

The average shower is 8+ minutes long and uses 17+ gallons of water. (A 30 minute shower uses more than 75 gallons of water … in case you were wondering.)

Dermatologists say the perfect shower is 2 minutes in duration and only uses lukewarm water. Many dermatologists also say that showering every day is harmful to your skin.

FIM (For Inquiring Minds): A luxurious bath uses more than 70 gallons of water … in case you were wondering.
