  • Did you have to help out with chores when you were growing up?  If so, what were you assigned to do?
  • Have you ever researched your family tree?   What do you know about your family’s roots?
  • What’s your cure for hiccups?
  • What makes you roll your eyes every time you hear it?  Either figuratively or literally?

Did you have to help out with chores when you were growing up?  If so, what were you assigned to do?

As we were growing up, we did not have chore lists. We were expected to keep our rooms in some semblance of order, and do our homework. We often took turns setting the table and helping in the kitchen. I got to mow the lawn, but I did not realize that mowing was a chore until I was about 30-years-old?

If I was going to have a friend over for the weekend, it became my turn to assist in cleaning all the front rooms. My room was to be a tad bit cleaner than usual as well.

Have you ever researched your family tree?   What do you know about your family’s roots?

I have never researcher my family tree. I have a relative who was completed this task and written a books about two of four family lines.

I think it would be exciting to do the ancestry.com stuff, but I just haven’t done it.

What’s your cure for hiccups?

When someone has the hiccups, the best cure is to sneak up behind them and yell at the top of your lungs to scare the bejesus out of them.

I truly don’t know who effective it is…. But I do love to do it!

What makes you roll your eyes every time you hear it?  Either figuratively or literally?

At every political speech, I have to be careful not to allow my eyes to rotate all the way back into my skull. Especially when one says, “And if I am elected, I promise to….”
