A Fitness Potato

There is very little noise in my house now that I have retired.

Of course, the dog will bark at the kids next door when they are playing outside without him.

Then there is the elevation of the computer speakers when a commercial comes on during a baseball game.

I think I have even gotten away from shouting at the television for an excellent slam dunk in a basketball game.

Where has all the noise gone?

Will the passion echoes come back one spring is in the air?

I think I miss the huffing and puffing and high-fives of a fitness regime.

April 1st… the inclination for Mother Nature to bless us with warmer weather and I can be outside… running (OK, walking slowly. Sitting and cheering at a baseball game. Hikes to hear the birds.)

April 1st … only thirteen days away.

(This is not a depressed evaluation… I only noticed the missing noise because of the prompt.)

Written for The Daily Post- Noise  I have been having problems finding something of meaning to create an answer for the prompts this year. So I decided to strengthen and tighten my focus. My chosen topics are as follows: (Monday) Life in Retirement; (Tuesday) Hobbies: Archaeology and Astronomy; (Wednesday) Fitness; (Thursday) Chores; (Friday) Writing; (Saturday) Hobbies: Music and Photography; and (Sunday) Hobbies: Gardening and Birdwatching.

I'd love to hear from you. It's nice to know other people are out there.
