Uncompromising Persistence

When you fall behind in tasks that are necessary, what do you do?

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” Pele

“Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.” Newt Gingrich

“Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other.” Walter Elliot

“Pull yourself up by your bootstraps, give yourself a kick in the butt, and move on, little doggy.”

Written for The Daily Post: Uncompromising I have been having problems finding something of meaning to create an answer for the prompts this year. So I decided to strengthen and tighten my focus. My chosen topics are as follows:  (Monday) Life in Retirement; (Tuesday) Hobbies: Archaeology and Astronomy; (Wednesday) Fitness; (Thursday) Chores; (Friday) Writing; (Saturday) Hobbies: Music and Photography; and (Sunday) Hobbies: Gardening and Birdwatching.

  1. First time I pulled myself up by my boot straps I fell over backwards. But that did wake me up to the fact that perseverance pays. It is the only thing that will get the job done. I am glad to see you are retired, go out and enjoy it.
