Particularly Popular Flowers for This Spring
Daffodils, Irises, Tulips, and Peonies
This summer and fall I have collected so many bulbs… These were to be my popular flowers for the spring and early summer.
Buttercup Yellow Daffodils… Tulips of Red and White… Peonies and Irises of many hues…
But then life became entwined with happenstances.
Nothing was ever planted.
According to Goggle, I should not hold off on planting them? Google implies that I will have a better chance of the bulbs thriving if I plant them now –over Thanksgiving break- than if I wait until spring?
This seems to be true for the tulips and the daffodils. It seems that it is OK to plant irises and peonies in the spring?
Does anyone out there have more exact knowledge? I am a very novice (and careless) gardener!

You can plant the iris in the spring but it may not flower that first summer. Peonies can be planted in the spring, but you might not have the same results as a fall planting.
