FLASH FICTION FOR THE PURPOSEFUL PRACTITIONER- 2017

WEEK #09

First, I missed my primary fight.

But I was lucky. I snagged a connecting flight the same day.

Then they processed the seating arrangements incorrectly.

Providence provided. The passengers to my left desired to diversify their retirement portfolios… and they were well-versed in micro-tectonics.

Upon arriving in Phoenix, misplaced baggage.

Apparently it had been able to board my initial flight and is awaiting me at the hotel.

The company usually sent a chauffeured limousine…

Instead, I get a claim ticket to a rental.

No explanation. Just keys, A 2017 Buick. Lot C.

Should I be hoping for another silver lining?

I would like to give a hearty welcome to all flash fiction aficionados. Welcome to the new Flash Fiction for the Purposeful Practitioner Home Site.

It is the desire of this challenge to allow writers the opportunity to clear the cobwebs from a more tedious and involved project.
