FLASH FICTION FOR THE PURPOSEFUL PRACTITIONER- 2017
“My shoes? Ma?”
“I’ve told you a thousand times to clean…”
“Not the time, Mother. Can’t you hear the alarm?”
“You don’t have to answer every call?”
“I like to be there… just in case.”
“Seems that the L.A. Tactical have need of you often.”
“I can see and do things unawares.”
“You’re gonna be caught. That news reporter from the Gazette’s already sniffing around from last week’s fire.”
“”Mother, it was hard to rescue a kid from the twenty-fifth floor windows incognito.”
“But saying he jumped? You just happened to catch him?”
“First thing I thought of. Gotta go.”
