Of all my hobbies, archaeology and astronomy are the two on which I spend minimal time.
Why, you may ask.
It is not because of passion.
Of all my interests, archaeology would reign supreme. Astronomy would be a close second.
Not enough time and too little money.
I do get to immerse myself into history at a few of the local tourist traps. (They are of high quality- I am not putting them down!) But I want the Egyptian Pyramids, the Grand Castles of Germany, and the Temples of Rome.
The local planetarium is nice… But I want NASA!
So until the lottery blesses me with millions…
High-Class Binoculars and Historical Reenactors will have to rule.
Written for The Daily Post: Minimal. I have been having problems finding something of meaning to create an answer for the prompts this year. So I decided to strengthen and tighten my focus. My topics for the month of March are as follows: (Monday) Teaching and Life; (Tuesday) Hobbies: Archaeology and Astronomy; (Wednesday) Fitness; (Thursday) Chores; (Friday) Writing; (Saturday) Hobbies: Music and Photography; and (Sunday) Hobbies: Gardening and Birdwatching.
