The Founding Fathers of Rock-n-Roll

Every massive, passionate movement has it Founding Fathers… and this is true of Rock-n-Roll. To argue which of these amazing musicians should be considered the best, I believe, is a disservice to all of them.

If any one of them would be removed from the birth of Rock-n-Roll, it would be a travesty.

Let the quarreling cease:

The Five Founding Fathers of Rock-n-Roll

Chuck Berry

Elvis Presley

Buddy Holly

Bill Haley and His Comets

Little Richard

Today, we lost the last of the living legends.

To honor Chuck Berry and his Co-Founders of Rock-n-Roll, sit back and enjoy a few of my favorites.

Chuck Berry with Roll over Beethoven

Elvis Presley with Heartbreak Hotel

Buddy Holly with That’ll Be the Day

Buddy Holly with Peggy Sue

Bill Haley and His Comets with Rock Around the Clock

Little Richard with Tutti Frutti

Written for The Daily Post: Controversy  I have been having problems finding something of meaning to create an answer for the prompts this year. So I decided to strengthen and tighten my focus. My topics for the month of March are as follows:  (Monday) Teaching and Life; (Tuesday) Hobbies: Archaeology and Astronomy; (Wednesday) Fitness; (Thursday) Chores; (Friday) Writing; (Saturday) Hobbies: Music and Photography; and (Sunday) Hobbies: Gardening and Birdwatching.
