My Everything

PHOTO PROMPT © Roger Bultot

He …

A mere handyman- overhauls and shirtless- living in the back-stage theater.

The prima donna of our cinematheque five seasons running.

Our first date… June seventeenth… two dozen sunflowers… Large and small ones… Exquisite unimaginable colors… In a classic Egyptian floor vase.

Every seventeenth thereafter… one red rose.

After an allergic reaction… Me an obese chipmunk… orchids.

An illuminating and passionate poem with each bouquet…

Sunflowers- he adored spending time with me.

Red Roses- passion rekindled in his life.

Orchids- I would always be his delicate beauty.

But then…

A beautiful Italian planter ….

Gorgeous narcissuses…

No note?
