Grandfather, It Is Laughing Boy

This week’s photo prompt is provided by Grant-Sud.

I know I’m close.

The markers from my dream walk match.

The Twin Ladies…

The Elder’s Nose…

When I found the eagle’s wing under the overhand on the shelving at the overlook… I knew that my dream was a trusted encounter.

And here are the seven stones.

In my dream, I could sit here and see the cave’s entrance through the shadows of the evening.

Your spirit is here.

My heart hears you.

I know you are calling me.

I will sit … wait… and listen… for the setting of the sun.

“Grandfather, it is Laughing Boy. I am here.”

Written for Flash Fiction for the Aspiring Writer. Requirements: Using the photo prompt, create a 100-150 word flash story.

I'd love to hear from you. It's nice to know other people are out there.
