SHARE YOUR WORLD – 2016

WEEK #12

  • Wanting something to quench your thirst, what would you drink?
  • What made you feel good this past week?
  • When you’re alone at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?
  • Would you rather live where it is always hot or always cold?

Wanting something to quench your thirst, what would you drink?

Just a few months ago, this would have been a true confessions question. I was deeply addicted to Mountain Dew. Now, I can claim freedom! My drink of choice is sweet tea. The sweet tea is even herbal sweetened!

What made you feel good this past week?

I am on vacation!

When you’re alone at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?

I am a barefoot person. Even as a lad, I would prefer to go barefoot around the farm. Of course, when we were in the hayfields or doing chores, I often had to wear shoes. But around the yard and inside the house… barefoot was the way to go!

Would you rather live where it is always hot or always cold?

I love the warm weather sports. I have never gotten attached to any winter sports. I love basketball and tennis – bit of which I am too old to actually enjoy now. I still enjoy a competitive game of horseshoes or croquet.

I am hoping to learn how to play pickleball. If I am lucky, pickleball can replace my love of tennis and I will be back in the saddle again?

  1. I Googled “Mountain Dew” to find out what it is as people are often talking about it as a negative thing. That’s quite the list of ingredients! Shame, because the name “Mountain Dew” makes it sounds very clean and wholesome 🙂

I'd love to hear from you. It's nice to know other people are out there.
