One More Time
If you were able to relive one day from the last 12 months, which day would it be — and why?
To magically be able to relive one day…
To be able to experience the thrill of victory of a task long awaited and aggressively fought for again…
To re-experience the chances of another agony of defeat…
I don’t think that this would be a magical wish that I would desire. There would be no guarantee of a victory instead of defeat?
Another victory would be like re-watching a championship feat to bask in moments of glory that are no longer yours.
The attempt to change history would be falsifying an event for the sake of a false establishment of who was the better men or team at that given moment. It would not be real.
Neither of those opportunities appeal to me.
I am a “live life in the moment”, “give it all you got”, “stand and be counted” kinda guy. Then you move on.
Life is not a stagnate pool of the re-wishing of the olden days.
Life continues to move on.
And I want to move with it.
