As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? How close or far are you from that vision?
A rootin-tootin-cowboy singing to his little doggies about “Home of the Range”.
A policeman hunting down robbers and burglars and shooting an assortment of bad guys.
A fireman rushing into burning buildings to save children and puppies.
An astronaut seeing the stars up close and visiting other solar systems.
A teacher instructing eager minds- my teddy bears- in the rudiments of reading, writing and arithmetic.
A German shepherd searching for lost kids sweep away in torrid rains.
An astronomer seeking new galaxies and finding other inhabited planets.
An archeologist discovering where the Lost Colony went and where the Aztecs hid the rest of their gold.
A baseball player: short stop for the Atlanta Braves.
A motocross racer and daredevil…. Winner of the Indiana 500. (I would sometimes get my metaphors mixed?)
A farmer and gardener who could feed all the starving children from just his farm.
A rock star who would wow the babes with his thrills and his trills. (So… some dreams were more noble than others.)
Ehhhhh…. 10 outa 12…. Not so bad….. (Just jokin’!)
