Don’t You Forget About Me
Imagine yourself at the end of your life. What sort of legacy will you leave? Describe the lasting effect you want to have on the world, after you’re gone.
A legacy… What is my lasting effect on the world?
I do not desire to leave monuments of great architectural value as the Pyramids of Giza or Djoser of Egypt, or even enlightened treatises of personal self-awareness like Common Sense or Siddhartha.
To be a friend. That is the way I want to be remembered.
