“You know what you have to do… So do it!” If there had been a way to slam the receiver down on my ear, Gruesome Giggles would have done it.
I had tried to explain to him that Fluffy, just isn’t Fluffy when she sounds like the rasping engine of a smoking locomotive. But did he care? Being obedient to the tables table…That was what he hired me to do… So do it.
My former entertainment job just was not making ends meet. I knew that this one offered more perks, but that there was a cost.
It still was able to hone my craft. I loved clowning. It was my calling in life.
But clowning, today, as an operative for the K.E.P.S. unit (Klowns: Espionage for Perpetual Suppression) was more sombering than usual…Especially since my target was a kid.

I always suspected those creepy clowns were up to no good.

Brr… That’s creepy, yeah. But a part of the old him still seems to be alive. Maybe that part will take over sometime.
