THE DAILY POST PROMPT
In a Crisis
Honestly evaluate the way you respond to crisis situations. Are you happy with the way you react?
I think that I am fairly calm, cool, and collected in a crisis situation. I like to think that I can quickly evaluate a situation and react swiftly and efficiently.
I suppose, everyone thinks that about themselves, unless there has been a proven case of shear buffoonery during a crisis.
Being in an occupation where one has to think on one’s feet at all times in order to have a successful day, I think that I have had a great deal of practice in crisis situations.
I trust my eyes- allowing for a small voice for correction in my gut. I trust my instincts- to listen to that small voice in my gut. So far… so good.
I guess that the real judge of correct actions in a crisis are those truly to be given to those that are having the crisis. The crisis-er’s opinions, after the crisis has be averted, would be the true test of success.
