2015: Resolutions

If you are a follower of my blog and have read a few of the more biographically-based pieces of fiction, you already know that I am a purpose-driven goal-setter. I actually set some form of a goal about every 15 and 30 days: something that I want to do or want to accomplish that I have not done before.

That being said, several of you have asked what my New Year’s Resolutions might be for this year.

I began this year knowing nothing about WordPress and Blogging. I resolve to complete my WordPress class so that I am not totally ignorant.

I resolve to average three entries or more a week on my blog. I have several contests that allow me to converse with other bloggers. I don’t think that is as far-fetched as I first thought it would have been.

I resolve to write 1500 words a week. I started that with my students in November… I have been able to do that on a regular basis.

I resolve to continue to resolve healthier eating habits and exercising- hence the In the Garden page of my blog and The 5K, and the Tasty Morsels. (We’ll see about those.)

I resolve to continue to enjoy reading. I hope the five ‘Blog” pages that I have already posted and published  about The New York Times Fiction and Nonfiction, the Newberry Books and my selection of magazines I can soon find and allow others to access them as well.

The two pictures of the polar bears are the way I see my successes. The top one… off and running! The bottom one- hopefully, a job well done and a much deserved rest!

I'd love to hear from you. It's nice to know other people are out there.
